Frederick the Great and Staff |
Loudon |
One of my favorite parts of the Minden Miniatured SYW figure range are the various personality figures from the Austrian, French, Prussian and Russian armies of that era. Here are a few of them:
Maurice de Saxe |
Seydlitz |
Zieten |
Austrian Generals and Staff |
These are but a few of the available personify figures.
Charles of Lorraine
Loudon
Browne
Nadasdy
Prinz Moritz
Frederick
Seydlitz
Zieten
Prinz Ferdinand of Brunswick
Maurice de Saxe
Chevert
Broglie
Fermor
More pictures to follow.

I really wish I was doing 7YW in 28mm looking at these!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
Brilliant, Jim. They are marvelous figures and add a lot to the Minden Range.
ReplyDeleteThe personality figures, in my view, rival much larger single display figures. Even if one did not build armies for mid-18th century battles, a few vignettes using Minden personality figures for display purposes would be an aesthetically pleasing pursuit.

ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if there is a way to block a regular blog nuisance?
DeleteThis has been a topic on TMP, apparently marking the post as spam isn't effective. The recommendation there is to make comments moderated.
DeleteI hate to turn on the comment moderation function as I think that this (especially the Captcha puzzles) discourage readers from posting comments. I just guess that I will have to just learn to live with it.
DeleteActually, I don't know if anyone else has found?-I haven't had ANY Spam postings for about 6 days! I wonder if the great powers have finally sorted the problem for us?
DeleteThe Austrian commander is called Loudon or Laudon but not Loudan.
ReplyDeleteVery nice figures. I especially like the more relaxed poses on the Austrian commanders.
Great paint job by the way.
Cheers,
My favourite still remains Saxe, but whenever he commands I lose. Whats that about?
