| Here are the various components for the first releases of AWI artillery equipment in the Fife & Drum range. On the top row we have (left to right) a French Valliere 4-pdr, American cast 6-pdr, British 6-pdr, and 3-pdr galloper gun. We are getting very, very close to having both the artillery crews and the first releases of AWI artillery equipment added to the Fife & Drum range. I daresay that you might be able to celebrate July 4th by painting a couple of these little beauties. Everything has been sent to the caster and I don't know about you, but I am getting very excited about all of this and can't wait to hold the actual cannons in my hands. I really like the way that these have turned out.

Outstanding work Jim! I feel that many people might be buying these little jewels to use with figures other than Fife & Drum. The French gun is extremely nice, and the Amusette is just fun.

Agreed! That Valliere 6pdr looks especially nice. Just might have to replace some of my MiniFig guns with that one.

The guns are superb and will be very useful to a lot of people I am sure. I'm eager to order a few. Is it possible to plunk some money down in the short term and make a pre-order? I can wait of course (and will have to anyway), the thing is that I was looking around for galloper guns and amusettes just yesterday, and here you come to the rescue!

@ Jim: I don't really want to start doing pre-orders because I don't want to collect people's money and then hold on to it until the new products go into production. That involves more record keeping than I care to do.

Rest assured though that I plan to stock up on the artillery equipment and artillery crew figures in a big way so that everyone can get what they order in a timely fashion.
