Prussian Cuirassier Regiment No. 2 "Prinz von Preussen" uniform from the book"Uniformen der Preussischen Armee 1758"

I was surfing the net today looking for an on-line version of the Bautzen Manuscript of the Austrian SYW army. I did not find a copy, but I did find this very interesting manuscript  depicting all of the Prussian infantry and cavalry regiment uniforms circa 1758.

The book is from the collection of the Sachsische Landesbibliothek-Staats-und Universitatsbibliothek Dresden. It indicates that the author was Cerino Badone, but I can not verify the author. Does anyone know any more information about this uniform manuscript?

  1. Cerino Badone is a PhD in military history at the "Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale" in Italy. He put the manuscript on-line. You can find it and download more easily than on Scribd at Kronoskaf, in the page of reference for the Prussian Army.

I think you'll not find easily the Bautzen manuscript to download. The Thummler book is still in copyright.
