They look fantastic! I was interested in your comments about certain parts of the painting process as being tedious. I think that I am one of those odd types that actually really enjoys the painting process, almost a Zen type of experience. Unfortunately enjoying it does not go hand-in-hand with being quick. You mentioned 5 minutes to paint all the black components, and I don't think painting anything takes me 5 minutes a figure. I am always astounded by how much time flies by when I paint, and how slow the progress. I really appreciate your detail on the bases you use and how to prepare them. By the way I am just about to order some bases for my eighteenth century project and need to decide on the base thickness. Your bases look perfect, are they 3mm thick MDF?
