We were happily married with two children, a boy and a girl. 3 months ago I started to notice strange behavior from him and a few weeks later I discovered that my husband was seeing someone. He started coming home late from work, he doesn't care about me or the kids anymore, sometimes he goes out and doesn't even come home for about 2-3 days. I did everything I could to correct this problem but to no avail. I became very worried and needed help. One day when I was surfing the Internet, I came across a website that suggested that Dr. Padman could help resolve marital problems, restore broken relationships, and so on. So I felt like I had to give it a try. I contacted him and he made a spell for me. Two days later, my husband came to see me and apologized for the wrongs he had committed and promised to never do it again. Since then, everything has returned to normal. My family and I live happily together again. All thanks to Dr. Padman. If you need a spellcaster capable of casting a spell that really works, I suggest you contact him. He will not disappoint you. In our 1st game we assumed this was so. We did not go as far as allowing him to command another unit to perform another action (ie allowing a unit potentially 3 or 4 actions!) . So his possible actions were basically move including attach to a unit, charge, melee, fire (pistol - max 2 shots as above).

Cheers, Rohan. How long does it take a rifle armed figure to load? I really like the idea expressed above of a reload step after firing. If it took one action to reload a musket or pistol, should reloading take two actions? Having rifle armed troops also raises the possibility of having mixed units of musket armed light infantry supporting the rifle armed troops such as jagers.
While I understand why heavy cavalry might not be allowed to fire, still it seems that in some cases this might be appropriate. Also does your rule set permit the expenditure of an action for mounting and dismounting?
Your contributions to the hobby continue to be inspirational!
JerryCelticCurmudgeonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17687177512999052331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6504742686650223041.post-70113336909192626642020-01-25T08:30:50.214-06:002020-01-25T08:30:50.214-06:00Jim, I will try to engage my son in a playtest thi...Jim, I will try to engage my son in a playtest this weekend (Australia Day long weekend). Just a few comments after my initial reading through...

i) At the scale of these rules, I wonder if Artillery ball should be 48" or more! Cannister seems right though.

ii) I am intrigued by heavy cavalry having n/a for shooting as they carried both carbine & pistols. Indeed some cavalry were still using fire before closing tactics in the WAS especially. I thought to distinguish them from the light cavalry, perhaps designate them as "Pistols (6") Factors 3 vs Formed, 2 vs Open order and 1 vs Woods or hard cover"

iii) The pistol category would also be useful for Character figures, like the notorious spy who is trying to elude capture! Or the Dandy in the coach! :-D

iv) Since there is an "uncontrolled Advance" possible in the Morale section, I wondered if the " Personality figure attached" could be +/- 2 to prevent rash behaviour as well as encouragement?

More thoughts after action. However reading the above is very interesting and I like the sound of these. I like card activation as I think it raises a nice level of uncertainty which in skirmish games is (I feel) a necessity Graham Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05229770388869939725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6504742686650223041.post-70685345130672258572020-01-24T20:08:14.334-06:002020-01-24T20:08:14.334-06:00The discussion and clarification of rules is yet o...The discussion and clarification of rules is yet one more fascinating sideline of the hobby.

Best Regards,

StokesWSTKS-FM Worldwidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14173042438761572040noreply@blogger.com
