I have some of their Green Croats. I may do one battalion with Foundry and one battalion with Hinchcliffe. I haven't seen their von Kleist dragoons, but based on their other figures, I can imagine that they are very nice. Good idea - something to consider, and very Old School as well.Der Alte Fritzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01578422757511400566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6504742686650223041.post-10420657841046358782008-10-28T15:19:00.000-06:002008-10-28T15:19:00.000-06:00Very nice and an interesting aside to the more for...Very nice and an interesting aside to the more formal big battalions; almost a mini-army in itself. I look forward to seeing the rest of the units. More youthful gamers may not be aware of the Hinchliffe SYW range which includes the Kleist dragoons, uhlans and croats; good figures for their day and still quite attractive.

JohnJohn Clementshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02591264539878321434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6504742686650223041.post-3862173761341091062008-10-28T14:09:00.000-06:002008-10-28T14:09:00.000-06:00JimInspirational as ever! Sadly, I was diverted a while ago from modelling the "green Kleist". So, is it too late to offer you an unpainted Kleist Dragoon command set? They've been sitting idle in my cupboard for over two years, it's time they saw some service...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6504742686650223041.post-54252038373297745842008-10-28T02:14:00.000-06:002008-10-28T02:14:00.000-06:00One of those posts that switched on my brain cells...One of those posts that switched on my brain cells and gave me ideas on how to use my spare American Revolution british Light Dragoons.

Thanks

WillFire at Willhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08816572506887450180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6504742686650223041.post-32308099431533139012008-10-28T02:04:00.000-06:002008-10-28T02:04:00.000-06:00Since I like 'colorful' troops, I prefer the jaege...Since I like 'colorful' troops, I prefer the jaegers to the mounted figures . . . but both look very good.

-- JeffBluebear Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07595975572873838050noreply@blogger.com
